Annex of the Year 2021 to Regulations on the International Competition of Young Composers of Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory’s Educational Center for Curriculum and Training Studies

A.1. General Provisions

A.1.1. The full official name of the competition is The Fourth International Competition of Young Composers of Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory’s Educational Center for Curriculum and Training Studies (hereinafter to be referred to as “the 4th Competition of the Conservatory’s ECCTS”).

A.1.2. The dates of holding the 4th Competition of the Conservatory’s ECCTS are from 2 to 15 May 2021 inclusive.

A.2. Prizes of the 4th Competition of the Conservatory’s ECCTS

A.2.1. The Working Group has established six monetary prizes (three in each category) and two non-monetary diplomas (one in each category), as well as one special prize:

  • A.2.1.1. two First Prizes — 15,000 (fifteen thousand) rubles each;
  • A.2.1.2. two Second Prizes — 10,000 (ten thousand) rubles each;
  • A.2.1.3. two Third Prizes — 5000 (five thousand) rubles each;
  • A.2.1.4. two non-monetary diplomas;
  • A.2.1.5. Alexander Chaykovsky’s Special Prize in the amount of 5000 (five thousand) rubles.

A.4. Procedure for Holding the 4th Competition of the Conservatory’s ECCTS

A.4.1. The auditions of Round Two will be held on 15 May 2021 at 14:00 at the Nikolai Myaskovsky Concert Hall.

A.4.3. Every applicant must submit to the 4th Competition of the Conservatory’s ECCTS no more than two pieces composed by him/her personally in a free form. The following lists of instruments are possible (optionally):

  • (1) any solo voice (one);
  • (2) any solo instrument (one);
  • (3) an ensemble of any instruments from two to five;
  • (4) any solo voice accompanied by an ensemble of any instruments from one to four.

A.5. Submission of the Application, Documents and Score(s)

A.5.1. In order to participate in the 4th Competition of the Conservatory’s ECCTS, the following documents have to be scanned and forwarded to the Working Group’s official e-mail address:

  • A.5.1.1. the application filled out and signed by the underage applicant’s parent or legal representative; Download *.doc
  • A.5.1.2. the consent for processing the underage applicant’s personal data with the personal signature of his/her parent or legal representative. Download *.doc

A.5.4.1. The deadline for submitting the application, the documents and the score(s) in order to participate in the 4th Competition of the Conservatory’s ECCTS is 1 May 2021.

A.6. Financial Terms

A.6.2. The amount of the registration fee for participation in the 4th Competition of the Conservatory’s ECCTS is, optionally:

  • (1) 1500 (one thousand five hundred) Russian rubles;
  • (2) 20 (twenty) US dollars;
  • (3) 17 (seventeen) euros.
