The Results of the Fifth International Competition of Vocal and Piano Duos Pianovoce

First prize and the title of a laureate:

Second prize is divided between, and the titles of laureates are awarded to, the following three duos:

  • Darya Gorozhanko (mezzo-soprano) and Ivan Kobylchenko (piano)

Annex of the Year 2024 to the Regulations on Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory’s International Pianovoce Competition of Vocal and Piano Duos

A.1. General Provisions

A.1.1. The full official name of the competition is Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory’s Fifth International Pianovoce Competition of Vocal and Piano Duos (hereinafter to be referred to as
“the 5th Pianovoce Competition”).

A.1.3. The dates of holding the 5th Pianovoce Competition are 7–10 February 2024 inclusive.

A.2. Prizes of the 5th Pianovoce Competition

  • A.2.1. First Prize: 200,000 (two hundred thousand) rubles.
  • A.2.2. Second Prize: 150,000 (one hundred and fifty thousand) rubles.
  • A.2.3. Third Prize: 100,000 (one hundred thousand) rubles.
  • A.2.4. Two diplomas of 50,000 (fifty thousand) rubles each.

A.4. Procedure for Holding the 5th Pianovoce Competition

  • A.4.3. The 5th Pianovoce Competition consists of three rounds.
  • A.4.3.1. Round One is an eliminating contest of the submitted video recordings to be held during
    8–20 January 2024
    inclusive.
  • A.4.3.2. Round Two will take place in the Rachmaninoff Hall of Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (hereinafter to be referred to as “the Rachmaninoff Hall”) on 7 and 8 February 2024 at 10:00.
  • A.4.3.3. Round Three will take place in the Rachmaninoff Hall on 9 February 2024 at 10:00.

A.4.7. The award ceremony and the final concert of the winning duos will take place in the Rachmaninoff Hall
on 10 February 2024 at 14:00.

A.5. Submission of the online applications, the documents and the video recording

A.5.1. In order to participate in the 5th Pianovoce Competition, each musician of the applying duo must fill out his/her personal online application.
See the description of the other necessary documents in the main text of the Regulations (clauses 5.1 and 5.3).

A.5.2. In addition, each duo applying for participation in the 5th Pianovoce Competition must submit the video recording of their performance of the Round One program: see clause 5.2 of the main text of the Regulations.

  • A.5.4.1. The deadline for submitting the online application, the documents and the video recording is
    7 January 2024.
  • A.5.4.2. The order and dates of paying the registration fee will be announced by the Organizing Committee after the Initial Meeting of the duos participating in the 5th Pianovoce Competition: see clause 6.1
    of the main text of the Regulations.

A.6. Financial Term of the 5th Pianovoce Competition

A.6.2. An amount of the registration fee for participation in the 5th Pianovoce Competition is, optionally:

  • (1) 3000 (three thousand) Russian rubles;
  • (2) 240 (two hundred forty) Chinese yuans;
  • (3) 34 (thirty-four) US dollars;
  • (4) 31 (thirty-one) euros.
