The Lavrovskys Laboratories association presents an interactive performance “The Workshop of Drosselmeyer, the Wizard”: a ballet fairy tale, set to music by Tchaikovsky, will tell children the Nutcracker’s famous story. A group of ballet dancers, together with the Fiori musicali Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Klimenty Katenin, take part in the performance on the stage of the Rachmaninoff Hall.

The premiere of Morozko, Professor Vladislav Agafonnikov’s fairy-tale opera based on a Russian folk tale plot, took place in the Moscow Conservatory’s Rachmaninoff Hall on 14 December 2023. The composer himself touchingly welcomed his young listeners with an opening speech.
