Photo Exhibition and Concert “Valaam, the Island of Transfiguration”

Students and teachers of Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory took part in the concert organized on 5 February 2025 in the Central Military Resort House Arkhangelskoye for the Special Military Action participants. The concert was held as part of the opening ceremony of the photo exhibition “Valaam, the Island of Transfiguration,” organized by the Valaam Metochion and the Andrew the Apostle Foundation.

“The Workshop of Drosselmeyer, the Wizard”

The Lavrovskys Laboratories association presents an interactive performance “The Workshop of Drosselmeyer, the Wizard”: a ballet fairy tale, set to music by Tchaikovsky, will tell children the Nutcracker’s famous story. A group of ballet dancers, together with the Fiori musicali Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Klimenty Katenin, take part in the performance on the stage of the Rachmaninoff Hall.

The Premiere of Agafonnikov’s New-year Fairy-tale Opera Morozko

The premiere of Morozko, Professor Vladislav Agafonnikov’s fairy-tale opera based on a Russian folk tale plot, took place in the Moscow Conservatory’s Rachmaninoff Hall on 14 December 2023. The composer himself touchingly welcomed his young listeners with an opening speech.
