Opening of the Exhibition on the 80th Anniversary of the War Victory
The exhibition dedicated to the history of the Moscow Conservatory during WW2 (1941–45) opened in the Exhibition Space of the Small Hall on 28 April 2025. Materials from both the Archive Office of the Moscow Conservatory and Sergei Taneyev Scholarly Music Library were used in the exposition.

Opening of the Exhibition The Keeper of Time (Painting, Graphics, Tapestry)
Natalia Lopukhina’s personal exhibition The Keeper of Time opened in the Small Hall’s left foyer on 2 April 2025. The lady is a talented painter (virtuoso of tapestry), teacher and researcher, an author of several significant scholarly and educational works in the area of fine arts, as well as a representative of the Lopukhins ancient Russian house.

Yevgeny Romashko’s Personal Exhibition
The personal exhibition of Yevgeny Romashko, First Vice-president of the Creative Union of Russia’s Artists, will be opened at Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory from December 2024 to January 2025.

The Therepsiton, a performance by Vladimir Yermachenkov and Oleg Makarov
Léon Theremin (1896–1993), the famous creator of the thereminvox (1920), designed an electronic instrument called therepsitone (1978) for Lidia Kavina, his cousin’s granddaughter (b. 1967). The dance artist Vladimir Yermachenkov and the composer Oleg Makarov, an engineer at the Moscow Conservatory’s Center for Electroacoustic Music, staged a performance specifically for this instrument. A unique specimen of the therepsitone occupies an important place at the exhibition “To Archive the Present Time” in the Art Space “Artemyev”.
