Board of Trustees of the Moscow Conservatory was founded in 2002, on the initiative of the Research Analytical Department. Its purpose is rendering assistance to the Rector and the Academic Board in organizing authorized activity and solving urgent problems of the Conservatory.

It is the first Board of Guardians among musical high schools of Russia.

Nowadays the largest state and commercial structures are taking part in its work, alongside the representatives of the authoritative international and Russian organizations. Among them: “Aeroflot”, “Siemens”, “Ernst & Young”, “Lukoil”, “Statoil”, “Yamaha Music Ltd.”, and others.

Among personal members of the Board are the prominent representatives of the state administration, business, science and culture. Among them are: S.M. Mironov, Y.M. Luzhkov, A.N. Tchilingarov, L.A. Bokeriya, R.K. Shchedrin, A.I. Eshpay.

The Honorable Chairman of the Board is the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia E.M. Primakov.

The Board of Trustees is supervised by Professor Alexander Sokolov, rector of the Moscow Conservatory.

The activity of the Board of Trustees is not limited by financial support of the Conservatory. Thus, some members of the Board provide the assistance to the Conservatory according the spectrum of their activity, others sponsor collectives, projects or art initiatives of the Moscow conservatory.

Members of the Board are integrated in all musical events, taking place in the halls of the Conservatory. They are on permanent base invited as honored guests to attend the best concerts and celebrations.
Interaction with corporate members of the Board is regulated by bilateral agreements, strictly stipulating all its stages.

The organizational matters, connected with the activity of the Board of Trustees, are under supervision of the Research Analytical Department (Headed by A.V. Bogdanova).
