Russia’s Contemporary Music Festival The Twenty-first-century Art, dedicated to the 90^th anniversary of Alfred Schnittke, Honored Art Worker of the RSFSR, opened on 9 September 2024 in the Small Hall.

An evening of Russian music at the Rachmaninoff Hall. The program includes music by Glinka, Rimsky-Korsakov, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff and Mussorgsky. Performers: Lada Merkulyeva (soprano), a soloist of the Bolshoi Theater; Danila Vladyko (cello), and Vladimir Rodin (piano).

“Dialogues Beyond Time”

Dialogues Beyond Time is one of the concepts developed for the project Opus universum but unperformed during its previous seasons. The program introduced at the Rachmaninoff Hall featured Anna Yanchishina (violin) and Sergey Poltavsky (viola), as well as Alexei Kudryashov, Valeria Prokusheva, and Elena Tarasova (pianos); the latter is the artistic director of the project and an associate professor at the Moscow Conservatory.
