Annex of the Year 2026 to Regulations on Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory’s International Boris Tevlin Competition of Choral Conductors
A.1. General Provisions
A.1.1. The full official name of the competition is Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory’s Fourth Boris Tevlin International Competition of Choral Conductors (hereinafter to be referred to as “the 4th Tevlin Competition”).
A.1.3. The dates of holding the 4th Tevlin Competition are from 5 to 9 October 2026.
A.1.4. The program of the 4th Tevlin Competition is as follows:
A.2. Prizes of the 4th Tevlin Competition
The Organizing Committee has announced:
A.2.1. five monetary prizes for the laureates and diploma winners:
A.2.1.1. First Prize: 100,000 (one hundred thousand) rubles;
A.2.1.2. Second Prize: 75,000 (seventy-five thousand) rubles;
A.2.1.3. Third Prize: 50,000 (fifty thousand) rubles;
A.2.1.4. Special Prize for the Best Performance of Russian Music: 30,000 (thirty thousand) rubles;
A.2.1.5. Special Prize for the Best Performance of Contemporary Music: 30,000 (thirty thousand) rubles;
A.2.2. two monetary prizes for the best accompanists: 17,000 (seventeen thousand) rubles each.
A.3. The Jury of the 4th Tevlin Competition
Members of the Jury Team are to be announced later.
A.4. The Procedure of Holding the 4th Tevlin Competition
A.4.4.2. The Participants’ Initial Meeting and their rehearsal with the accompanists will take place on Monday,
5 October 2026, at 10:00 in the Nikolai Myaskovsky Concert Hall.
A.4.4.3. The date, time and venue of the meeting of the participants of Round Two will be announced later:

A.4.11. The Final Concert will take place on Friday, 9 October 2026, at 12:00 in the Great Hall.
A.5. Submission of the Application and the Documents
A.5.1. In order to participate in the 4th Tevlin Competition, every applicant must:
A.5.1.1. fill out an online application;
A.5.1.3. see the list of other documents in the text of the Regulations (the About tab).
A.5.4.1. The deadline for submitting the online application and the documents in order to participate
in the 4th Tevlin Competition is 10 September 2026.
A.6. Financial Terms
A.6.2. The registration fee for participation in the 4th Tevlin Competition is 3000 (three thousand) Russian rubles. The fee is to be paid after the Initial Meeting upon instructions of the Organizing Committee.
